Rishabh Pant was born in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. From a very young age, he displayed a passion for cricket and moved to Delhi to pursue professional training. His family supported his dream despite financial and personal challenges.

Early Life and Education

Pant was born in Haridwar, Uttarakhand into a middle-class family and developed an interest for cricket from a young age. He admired former Australian wicketkeeper-batter Adam Gilchrist, envisioned himself as a destructive keeper who could bat across formats and punish bowlers on all pitches. Acknowledging his skill and passion, the family did everything possible from their side to help him achieve these cricketing goals. Pant and his mother traveled back and forth between Haridwar and Delhi, but to afford better coaching facilities put a tremendous financial burden on the family.
